Back in high school, my love affair with photography was kicked off by my trusty Pentax K1000 film camera. I carried that camera everywhere with me, capturing the beautiful landscapes of upstate New York, the farms I worked on, and the classmates around me. By senior year, I found myself photographing weddings and spending countless hours in the darkroom developing photos.

 

Between high school and college, I secured a position in a small photography lab, tasked with a small amount of data entry and a whole lot of photo development. It was a tiny 4-person setup, but it fueled my passion. I was living and breathing photography, spending long days with my camera always by my side.

Life then led me to Ohio—Delphi and Packard territory. Working at a significant plant in Northeast Ohio not only allowed me to contribute to the workforce but also introduced me to a myriad of wonderful people. In their generosity, these newfound friends entrusted me to capture the magic of their weddings and special events. When Delphi closed its doors, it marked the beginning of a fresh chapter for me—filled with more weddings, word-of-mouth referrals, and opportunities at bridal shows.

Life got even more exciting with sports photography during my son's school days. Being self-taught and always up for a challenge, people started asking about senior pictures. Since then, I've been dedicated to photographing seniors, sports, families, and more full-time.

​

Now, on the personal side of things, I bring a wide range of experiences that help me connect with people. Whether it's sharing a laugh over a good funny movie or cherishing moments with my extended family and three wonderful children (plus two feline companions!), I try to bring warmth, understanding, and a personal touch to every session.
